2010 Scholarship
Yonsei Basketball Association 2010 Scholarship Information
For the past 16 years, the Yonsei Basketball Association has selected boys and girls to participate in experiencing cultural differences through participation on the Yonsei goodwill basketball team in Japan. The selection of the players is based on not only their basketball skills, but also scholastic and extra-curricular activities. In keeping with our mission, we will be awarding 3 scholarships this year. One of the scholarships will be the Sue Kamiyama Scholarship, named in memory of one of the charter members of the Yonsei Basketball Association. Sue was a valued member of Yonsei since its beginning, and was a strong and vocal advocate of girls’ youth sports. This year we are also able to award two general Yonsei scholarships.
We will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to three high school seniors who best exemplify the Yonsei philosophy of academic excellence and community service. Following are qualifications for the scholarships:

GPA’s shall be based on the final grades received in the 10th and 11th grades and the 1st semester of the 12th grade. Transcripts must be included so the GPA can be verified.
